Velas Vallarta Introduces New Grandparents Getaway for Multi-Generational Families
Beachfront Teepee Dinner, Cultural Celebrations, and Hands-On Family Activities On Tap
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (June 3, 2026) - Velas Vallarta, a family friendly all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta known for its lush gardens, beachfront setting, and exceptional hospitality, announces a new Grandparents Getaway. With grandparents increasingly playing an active role in their grandchildren's lives — and families navigating complex schedules and dynamics — the package is designed to create seamless, memory-making moments for all ages, all in one place.
The experience at Velas Vallarta centers on togetherness: from a beachfront tepee dinner under the stars to a family pickleball clinic, dance classes, and a reserved family table at the resort's beloved Sunday Mexican Fiesta. During a kids' art class, grandchildren can make their elders a painted tote bag, perfect as a gift for Día de los Abuelos (Grandparents Day) on August 28. A professional family photo session and roundtrip airport transportation are also included, ensuring the trip is effortless from the moment guests arrive and memories are forever cherished. Groups that reserve eight or more suites receive the grandparents' suite complimentary for length of stay.
Beyond the shared experiences, each suite includes a total of $300 USD in resort credits per night, divided across three categories: $200 USD toward spa treatments of 50 minutes or more (up to $40 per treatment, excluding the beauty salon), $50 USD toward boutique purchases with a minimum $200 spend on non-discounted merchandise, and $50 USD toward a curated selection of imported wines. Early check-in at 12:00 pm or late check-out at 3:00 pm is available subject to availability, and kids ages 4 to 12 stay free (up to two per suite), while teens ages 13 to 15 receive a 50% discount on their stay.
The Grandparents Getaway is available now for booking with a three-night minimum stay. Pricing is per person, per night on an all-inclusive basis: $380 for two guests in a one-bedroom suite, $420 for four guests in a two-bedroom suite, and $460 for six guests in a three-bedroom suite.
