Part of the resorts' ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism, the Water Bottle Painting Workshop invites participants to customize their own reusable water bottles using premium paints, fine brushes, and a protective lacquer spray to ensure long-term durability and usability. Set in serene beachfront settings or private garden venues, the activity is ideal for team building, bridal parties, extended families, couples, and more,  fully tailored for different occasions. Refillable at hydration stations around the resorts and then to be taken home, the activity serves as both a meaningful gesture toward the environment and a lasting memory of the guest's stay.

Grand Velas Riviera Maya 

At Grand Velas Riviera Maya, the experience is launching soon as part of its daily activities schedule included in the all-inclusive rate. Guests will paint a sleek aluminum coffee thermos instead of a traditional water bottle, offering a stylish bespoke piece to remember the travel experience. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding the resorts, guests can be inspired by the turquoise waters, lush tropical gardens, and soft white sand beaches.

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit 

At Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, guests can paint their own bottles as part of the Gourmet Picnic Experience. In one's oceanfront location of choice, the experience includes a private picnic with Cheese & Charcuterie board, fresh berries, baguettes, cupcakes, and rose wine. The space will be elegantly decorated, and exclusive waiter service tends to any needs. Each guest receives one high-quality, reusable bottle along with paints and materials to personalize it. For a party of four, the cost is $1,300.

Casa Velas 

At Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta, guests can also include the water bottle painting workshop in its Ultimate Picnic Experience. Guests can pull inspiration from unique elements of the hotel, such as the tranquil koi pond and lush foliage, to express themselves through color and design on their reusable bottles. Inclusive of the picnic experience and water bottle painting workshop, the cost is $1,300 for a party of four.

Mar del Cabo 

Inspiring connection with nature, art, and responsible travel, the Paint Your Thermos experience at Mar del Cabo invites guests to personalize their own water bottle with indelible markers while discovering and enjoying the magic of handcrafted herbal teas. Overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the experience includes the painting workshop along with personalizing one's own handcrafted tea. One can select from herbal or fruity ingredients. To make the experience even more memorable, each guest can receive a printed recipe of their custom blend to take home. The experience at Mar del Cabo costs $35 USD per person and is available upon request.
