Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (April 16, 2025) -The Meetings and Incentives division at Velas Resorts, led by Senior Global Sales Director, Cynthia Kunz, is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Herzberg as Senior International Sales Director - Northeast. With over three decades of experience and a global reputation for excellence, Herzberg brings a wealth of strategic insight, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality to this role. Kunz is confident that his contributions, client relationships, and expertise will complement the already talented team in place. 

From his earliest days on the front drive of The Ritz-Carlton to operating more than 400 program operations across 60 countries, Herzberg's career has been marked by a deep commitment to crafting extraordinary guest experiences. He has collaborated with industry leaders such as Maritz, ITA Group, and One10 Marketing, delivering five-star programs for Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Herzberg was most recently VP of Enterprise Solutions at One10.

Herzberg has been recognized with multiple industry accolades, including Northstar Meetings Group's Motivation Masters award in 2021 and five Leaders of Excellence honors from ITA Group. He also holds the CITP designation from the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) and is a graduate of the Leadership program at Drake University.
