The Acclaimed Argentine Designer Joins Forces With Velas Weddings to Offer Brides A Personalized Styling Session and Custom Couture Dress, Alongside An Exclusive Capsule Collection Available at Across Velas Resorts' Properties

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (September 29, 2026) - Velas Resorts announces an exclusive alliance with renowned haute couture designer Claudia Arce. Brides who book their wedding through Velas Weddings at Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, or Grand Velas Los Cabos now gain access to a fully personalized styling experience, culminating in a custom couture gown created in collaboration with Arce.

With a career spanning over four decades, Claudia Arce is one of Argentina's most prestigious haute couture designers, recognized for creating unique pieces where luxury, artisanal excellence, and timeless elegance coexist in perfect harmony. Based in Buenos Aires, she furthered her training in New York, Paris, and Milan, earning invitations to join the prestigious ateliers of Valentino and Roberto Cavalli. Specializing in bridal and evening gowns, Arce conceives each design as an unrepeatable work of art, handcrafted with noble textiles and entirely hand-embroidered details. She has dressed global celebrities including Salma Hayek, Paris Hilton, Anna Kournikova, Patricia Manterola, and Ana Obregón. Her Buenos Aires atelier remains a premier destination for women seeking exclusivity, refinement, and a completely personalized luxury fashion experience.

Through Velas Weddings, brides have the opportunity to work directly with the designer to develop a completely custom design. Arce can personally guide each bride through the creative process, including the selection of silhouettes, fabrics, and hand-embroidered details. Meetings with the designer may be arranged in person or virtually, giving each bride direct access to the atelier behind her gown. The experience extends beyond the design process itself. Upon delivery, each dress arrives in a large white box adorned with a bouquet of flowers, accompanied by a custom white bridal robe from Claudia Arce for the bride to wear while getting ready on her wedding day. Brides also receive a wedding agenda designed as a diary, allowing them to track milestones and preparations in the lead-up to their celebration. Velas Weddings and Claudia Arce continue to develop additional personalized details and experiences to accompany brides throughout their journey.

Beyond the custom design experience, the collaboration establishes a permanent capsule collection within the Velas Weddings portfolio. Four exclusive runway gowns from Claudia Arce's international collection are integrated as a Haute Couture Capsule Collection within the bridal boutiques of Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Grand Velas Los Cabos, and Grand Velas Riviera Maya. The collection was conceived especially for the Grand Velas universe, reflecting a shared vision of sophistication and contemporary luxury designed to complement each resort's distinctive style, from grand celebrations to intimate moments. Through Velas Weddings, brides booking their celebrations gain private access to view, try on, and acquire these exclusive pieces for their wedding weekend festivities, including welcome cocktail parties and rehearsal dinners. The collection and custom design experience are available exclusively through Grand Velas.

As this is a haute couture collection, pricing and availability for the capsule collection and custom design experience are provided on a personalized basis, reflecting the standard of exclusivity associated with both Claudia Arce and Grand Velas.
