Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (June 15, 2022) - Just in time for summer, Grand Velas Resorts in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit are launching new family experiences for extended families which vary by hotel, ranging from a private tour of tulum ruins and transport to a takeover of the kids or teens club, special activities and more. Additionally, both resorts offer spacious suites for single families as well Two-Bedroom Family Suites for larger accommodations.

The new Grandparents Package at Grand Velas Riviera Maya features a bevy of family-friendly experiences for bonding. A highlight is a private tour to the Tulum ruins and beaches, including transportation. A cooking class to learn to make traditional Mexican BBQ is also included as are board games insuite and a family painting class. A one-hour photography session is also included to capture the unforgettable memories. 

At Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, families can take over the kids' or teens' club for exclusive access to the over-the-top spaces. The private party is full of surprises from themed decorations, an assorted candy bar, colorful popcorn bar, and guided workshops such as kite making, painting, balloon games and more. The celebration ends on a sweet note with cake or cupcakes, a surprise show, and a traditional piñata. The Teens Club also features an extensive game room complete with an XBox Kinect, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, foosball, karaoke set with vintage dance floor and more. 

The starting rate for the Grandparents Package at Grand Velas Riviera Maya for up to 12 people is $4,480 while the kids' club buyout experience at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is $4,199 USD. Nightly rates are additional and start at $454 at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit and $596 at Grand Velas Riviera Maya per person per night in double occupancy. Kids (4-12 yrs. old) are $60 and teens (13-15 yrs. old) are $100 each for up to two children staying in the same suite.
