Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (August 16, 2023) - Sustainably sourced from Mexico, Prickly Pear cactus is the main ingredient in the new drink brand Caliwater that is in an exciting new partnership with Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. The celebrity beverage brand started by Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena is the inspiration for a menu of cocktails and mocktails inspired by nature. Inspired by a shared commitment to sustainability and well-being, Grand Velas teamed up with Caliwater to offer antioxidant-rich beverages to resort guests that have shown an increasing demand for additional health and hydration benefits. The AAA Five Diamond Resort is the first hotel in Mexico to stock Caliwater.

Available as a new welcome amenity, at the oceanfront Aqua Bar, in suite on request and at the sultry Koi Bar, the new Caliwater drink menu includes the "Cali Spritz," a blend of watermelon Caliwater, sparkling wine rose, and a spoon of passion fruit caviar; "Passion Cali Mocktail," a non-alcoholic cocktail with passion fruit pulp, ginger syrup, lime juice, and wild prickly pear Caliwater; Cali Rita; Cali Ranch Water; Desert Mule; and Mojave Mojito. The full line of Caliwater's flavors is also available by the can. All Caliwater beverages are included in the resort's nightly rate.
