Los Cabos, Mexico (December 9, 2020) - Travelers can ring in 2021 in a luxurious fashion with Grand Velas Los Cabos' planned Over-The-Top New Year's Day Brunch, featuring extravagant cocktails, gourmet cuisine, live music, and more.

Included in the nightly rate and available at the resort's breathtaking oceanfront Azul restaurant, the not-to-be-missed brunch features a new beverage menu with a focus on fresh fruit and an expansive spread. The WOW cocktails are in addition to real Mexican hot chocolate and a sampling of fresh squeezed juices. Food offerings range from a Make Your Own Chilaquiles station and expansive spread of fresh fruit to hearty omelets, Belgian waffles and pancakes are made to order. Additionally, guests can make their own ceviche, selecting from a variety of proteins, sauces and toppings including fried grasshoppers. Tuna, salmon, scallops, squid, shrimp, white fish, snail, and octopus are offered as the main ingredient. Fresh fish (brought in straight from the beach in the morning), sushi made to order, crispy bacon, a leg of Jamón Ibérico, and smoked salmon are also served. Fresh honeycomb is available to dress a sampling of cheeses and yogurts. A healthy corner features everything from matcha pancakes and special Vegan Sushi to acai bowls and other healthy ingredients. Decadent desserts like caramel ginger créme brulée and homemade doughnuts to marbled espresso cheesecake and fresh breads are a treat anytime. 

For an additional fee, resort guests can also purchase tickets to attend a New Year's Eve Gala the night before. Guests can choose from having the lavish dinner at the resort's Terraza del Mar restaurant or privately on their terrace in-suite. Fireworks, a plated menu, live music, party favors, and private tables will be offered. The price for the New Year's Eve Gala with dinner is $334 USD per person.

Nightly rates start at $742 USD per person based on double occupancy. Luxury accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals at a variety of specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, taxes, gratuity and more are included in the rate.
