Inspired by the destination, the Golden Treatment is a gold-infused full-body massage of luxurious textures and refined perfumes for unparalleled rejuvenation. Recently opened, the highly-anticipated SE Spa at Grand Velas Boutique boasts luxurious oceanview treatment rooms, innovative treatments, and a signature water ceremony, providing a holistic and rejuvenating experience for every guest.

SE Spa, celebrated for its treatments inspired by Mexican culture, integrates the soothing sounds of ocean waves and desert nights into its therapies at the new Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos location. The spa features four elegant oceanview treatment rooms, two of which are dedicated to couples treatments. All treatments include a seven-step Grand Velas signature Water Ceremony, taking guests through a series of restorative environments including a sauna, steam room, ice room, and sensorial shower tunnel. A culminating magnesium pool experience offers a jacuzzi, bubble chaise, standing bubble geyser, glute and calf jets, and Jacuzzi to soothe and invigorate. The spa's extensive menu draws inspiration from thoughts, emotions, heartbeats, and breathing frequencies, translating these physiological rhythms into tangible, transformative experiences. It includes healing massages, nail care, facials, body therapy, sleep therapy and meditation, reflexology, and other signature rituals. 

A highlight of the new menu, the Golden Treatment begins with a grounding welcome ritual utilizing ancestral stones, preparing the body and mind for the journey ahead. Guests are then treated to a rejuvenating body exfoliation with a unique blend of finely ground sea salt, reminiscent of soft, ocean-kissed sand, priming the skin for the next stage. The experience reaches its pinnacle with a deeply nourishing massage using a Sea of Cortez-inspired marine gold-enriched body mask. The mask activates and stimulates cell renewal, provides a tightening effect to enhance skin radiance and deeply moisturizes and nourishes the skin. To complete the experience, guests can enjoy a refreshing glass of sparkling wine overlooking the ocean, adding a celebratory touch to their opulent sensory escape. The 80-minute Golden Treatment is priced at $412 USD, with a special promotional rate of $348 USD available for a limited time.

In addition to the Golden Treatment, signature treatments at SE Spa at Grand Velas Boutique include "Sounds of the Ocean," a relaxing massage harmonized with vibratory bowl sound therapy, and the energizing "Ice and Fire Therapy," which combines the heat of obsidian stones and the cool of marble stones to stimulate blood circulation and energy balance. The unique Cahelmet Massage, meaning water and earth in the Cochimí language, relieves tension in every part of the body. It takes inspiration from Baja California Sur's rich flora and fauna, incorporating techniques based on the movements of the region's iconic wildlife, such as the rattlesnake, puma, golden eagle, manta rays, and whales. Additionally, it blends the sounds of the ocean and the desert with the scents of local flora, like white sage and Agave shawii.
