Love is once again in the air, this time with Season 5 of the successful Netflix series Love is Blind, which recently premiered the first 4 episodes where we delve into the beginning of new love stories with couples who clicked almost instantly and who are about to visit Grand Velas Riviera Maya for a unique romantic getaway.

Love is Blind is a dating reality show premiered on Netflix in 2020, when 6 couples stayed at the resort to start their romances. The series focuses on a social experiment in which singles seek love and emotional connection without seeing each other physically before committing.
The series' central premise involves singles getting to know and connecting in pod cabins. Participants can talk and get to know each other but cannot physically see each other. The goal is to establish deep emotional connections and decide whether they want to engage with someone without considering their physical appearance.
As the series progresses, participants choose people with whom they feel a strong enough connection to consider marriage. Then, the engaged couples finally meet face-to-face and must deal with the challenges of taking their relationship to the next level, including the opinions of their friends and family.
