VIP (Velas Incentive Program) ®
TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Eligibility:

VIP (Velas Incentive Program) is exclusive for retail travel agents doing business in USA and Canada. IATA, ARC, CLIA or any other Travel Industry certification is required in order to enroll to this program. To be eligible for this program, the Travel Agent must agree to the terms and conditions specified below.
Program does not apply for employees of Tour Operators or Wholesalers companies in US and Canada.

  • Validity & Redemption Periods:

Your customer must travel through May 31 2011. Redemptions should be received no later than Nov 30 2011. Redemption must be submitted online at:
http://www.velasresorts.com/travelagent/

  • Qualified bookings:

All individual bookings from Travel Agency or Travel Agent qualify for this program: up to 9 room's maximum on each booking record. Group bookings (from 10 rooms onward on a same record) DO NOT qualify for this particular VIP (Velas Incentive Program). Bookings will only be valid after guest travel dates. Bookings must be paid in full at the time Travel Agent/Travel Agency redemption is submitted. Bonus Commission does not apply for Travel Industry, fam trips or complimentary stays or any other special discounted rate not published on our website (www.velasresorts.com) or not offered by our Contact Center.
Bonus Commission applies to:

    • Any booking made through your preferred Wholesaler or Tour Operator.
    • Any booking made through GDS or Leading Hotels of the World chain code.
    • Any direct booking made through our website

    • Or through our contact center at 1-888-210-9590.
  • Bonus payments:

Checks are made payable to the Travel Agency. Bonuses are not transferable to other agency or company holding a different registered address/IATA or affiliation record. Extra Bonuses are cumulative and combinable for agents within the same agency name with same registered IATA or affiliation record, holding same registered address.

  • Taxes:

Recipients of Bonus Commissions are solely responsible for Local, State or Federal taxes.

  • General:

VIP (Velas Incentive Program) ® is a proprietary Incentive Program of Velas Resorts (Promotora Turistica Punta Bete, SA de CV) created exclusively for Travel Agents and Travel Agencies doing business in United States and Canada.
Velas Resorts (Promotora Turistica Punta Bete, SA de CV) reserve the right to add to and/or change the VIP (Velas Incentive Program) ® Terms & Conditions at any time. This means, for example, that we may change the Bonus Commissions amounts published on the http://www.velasresorts.com/travelagent/ or the redemption rules established in this document.
Velas Resorts (Promotora Turistica Punta Bete, SA de CV) reserve the right to terminate the VIP (Velas Incentive Program) ® with three months prior notice. During the three-month notice period, we may change or cancel these Terms & Conditions.
Velas Resorts (Promotora Turistica Punta Bete, SA de CV) reserve the right to cancel, suspend or modify program bonus at any time with no prior notice for the following reasons:

    • The breach of the present Terms & Conditions
    • Misrepresentation of any information or any misuse of VIP (Velas Incentive Program) ®
    • Infraction of any law or any national, regional or local regulation related to the use of the privileges established in VIP (Velas Incentive Program) ®
    • Fraud or abuse of any type.

 

  • Confidentiality:

By the time a Travel Agent/Travel Agency is registered at http://www.velasresorts.com/travelagent/, Travel Agent or Travel Agency gives authorization for the use of the data provided to Velas Resorts. Velas Resorts is able to contact you by mail, fax, telephone or e-mail for marketing purposes. Velas Resorts does not release or sell information for the purpose of a third party's marketing program or solicitation.

  • Jurisdiction:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Mexico. The Travel Agency/Travel Agent consents to the jurisdiction and venue in the courts of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.
