What is the cost of the camp and what does it cover? Camp Tuition and Accommodations Single Occupancy in One Bedroom Suite
This includes all seminars and the all-inclusive offerings at Velas Vallarta. As part of the all-inclusive package, Mom Blogger Camp attendees can enjoy daily breakfast, lunch and dinner at on-site gourmet restaurants, all beverages, nightly entertainment and bars, poolside and beach waiter service, and a selection of water sports. The price also covers luxury accommodations in a One Bedroom Suite with a selection of high-end amenities and a mini-bar in suite including snacks, tax and service. What is the Velas Vallarta resort like? Velas Vallarta is an all-suite resort located on 10 acres of oceanfront in Puerto Vallarta. Situated on the emerald waters of Banderas Bay, Velas Vallarta offers private beach access, lavish suites, deluxe in-suite amenities, a convention center, activities for children, gourmet dining, fitness center and a holistic spa. Mom Blogger Camp 2012 will take place at Velas Vallarta, just five minutes from Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Does the resort accept children? / Can I bring my family? Yes. The resort offers programs dedicated to children. Your children will enjoy a fun-filled vacation with the Velas Vallarta Kids Club, which provides fun activities for kids from ages 4 to 12. Your little ones will participate in arts, crafts and activities, including ceramic painting, face-painting where kids transform into super heroes, and a treasure hunt which sends kids racing throughout our Puerto Vallarta resort. Located next to the kid's pool, the Velas Vallarta Kids Club offers fun water activities, including swim classes, water balloon fights and Marco Polo. Kids can also enjoy tennis clinics and learn the basics from our tennis pro, or play on the Jungle Gym. The Kids Club is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Included in all-inclusive rate. How much of a discount are the Mom Blogger Camp participants getting as a courtesy from Velas Vallarta? The resort is extending a 32% discount to Mom Blogger Camp attendees as a courtesy to the camp organizers and attendees. How do I register? Click here to book or call our reservation center, from the USA 866-230-7221. Is it okay for me to find a sponsor to partly subsidize my trip? Yes, of course. There is time built into both session days for guests to promote any trip sponsors. Please be respectful of other guests' space at this time, though! Do I need a passport and visa to travel to Mexico? U.S. citizens will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following the departure date from Mexico. Other nationalities should check with the Mexican embassy of their country before booking. All nationalities should verify that the passport has blank pages before traveling. What should I bring with me? Bring your laptop and camera, casual and evening attire, beach clothes, sports wear etc. Attendees will find a refrigerator in each suite, for storage of medication or other items that must be kept cool. Will I have time to speak one on one with the seminar leaders? Dinners, lunches and coffee breaks will be natural opportunities to speak with the seminar leaders and network with other bloggers. What kind of food will be served? The resort offers gourmet and casual fare prepared by outstanding international and Mexican chefs. No money is needed for your stay at Velas Vallarta once you have paid the all-inclusive package. If you choose to take an excursion from the hotel, or indulge in a luxurious spa service, you should plan on spending an extra $100-200. How do I get from the airport to the hotel? Taxis are available upon arrival at the airport. You can choose from private or shuttle service. Transportation to and from the airport can be quoted and booked in advance through the resort's e-concierge at transfers@velasresorts.com. What makes Mom Blogger Camp different? The intimate setting and length of the camp allow bloggers to cultivate new friendships and nourish well-established relationships.
